The appeal process is sometimes a mystery to many. If you follow these simple steps we hope it will help eliminate some of the confusion in deciding whether or not to appeal, as well as helping you provide valid information for a successful appeal.

CARMEL TWP BOARD OF REVIEW MEETING
The Carmel Township Board of Review will meet on March 8 at 7:00pm to allow the Board to review the assessment roll. No appeals will be heard at this meeting. The Board will also meet on the following dates for the purpose of hearing protests to the 2016 assessed and taxable values.
APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR APPEALS AND ARE LIMITED TO 10 MINUTES EACH.

Appeals will be held at the following times:
March 14 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
March 17 from 9:00am to Noon and 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
This meeting will be held at the new Carmel Township Hall at 661 Beech Hwy in Charlotte.
If you have decided to continue with your appeal after reviewing the items in Step 1 you will need to complete the petition and bring it with you to your hearing.
Now that your petition has been completed you need to call to schedule an time for your appeal. Appeals are limited to 10 minutes each so it is important to use you time talking about the issues that the Board can address.
